ECKLEBURG 2005-01-10 - 7:41 p.m. Today I had an interview at a company with three people’s names as the name of the company. They do many things, often with the government, and have to wear suits everyday. They pay really well (from what I hear) but also expect you to work rather long hours (so I hear), but not super-extra long hours (or so I hear). The HR Recruiter was wearing WAY too much makeup, and had on a suit that had a skirt bottom, but the skirt was too short and made her look slightly awkward, (I am not a prude, just strangely style-conscious). Recruiter lady was very nice and gave us a slideshow about how great ol’ three-name is. This mainly consisted of touting a benefits package that is roughly the same as every other company I have talked to. I then had three interviews with three different people. I didn’t walk away from the interview process super-excited to work for them, nor do I think I impressed them very much. Overall it was a bit of a wash. I am notoriously bad at knowing how well I did or not, so I may have been fantastic and just am clueless about it. We’ll see how it goes, but unless they want to hire me for a REALLY lot of money, this place was probably #3 on my list of potential places.
