Who needs a job when you have Antiques Roadshow
So Grumblecake is thrilled about how 1950’s perfect housewife’y I have become. But reality is slowly setting in that eventually I will need to work again. So we have been looking for jobs I could do that pay well and don’t actually require any work.
Then it hit us – Antiques Roadshow! I am going to take every item we own that is older than I am and take it to Antiques Roadshow, where they will give me huge prices on my stuff which I can then sell to support my new 1950’s housewife habit. I know this will work, I have watched a lot of Antique Roadshow – it is one two shows on public T.V. (the other being “_____ House”).
Sure I may have to supplement my income around the holidays with donations of various bodily fluids, but what a small price to pay.
As a back-up plan, I actually have one rather promising job prospect right now – something we are both excited about but that I won’t go into details about for fear of jinxing myself.
