Such pressure. Really, there is far too much pressure on my writing skills lately. There’s eck trying to get me to contribute to his already well-worn and thoughtful blog with my own ramblings, there are those damn creditors trying to get me write checks, and then there are those people at work who want me to dedicate my entire 8-hour workday to being their dedicated technical writer!

That’s right, folks! I’m a technical writer! At long last!! No longer will I be responsible for babysitting adults! No longer will I be required to process other people’s expense reports, to make their travel arrangements, to schedule their meetings! No longer will they call on me when the printer breaks or they lose their pens or they can’t find the bathroom!
I have been waiting so patiently to use my degree. And now that I finally have the opportunity, I have to admit that I’m a little scared. What if I don’t live up to their expectations?
