Good Morning All!
So there were tornados where we live this weekend! The hit last Friday evening, while we were trying to go see Sky Captain (which we failed at, despite going to two theaters – one inexplicably wasn’t showing it, and the other only had showings that were far in the future and we didn’t feel like waiting).
The tornado started west of where we live and moved south, and actually hit the parking garage for the building I work in. Fortunately, it was too late for anybody to really be there. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn’t have even known that the tornado hit where I work had it not been for other people telling me – apparently tornadoes don’t tear up solid concrete megastructures the same way they do mobile homes. The only evidence is a torn up gate that had been yanked off its hinges.

Grumblecake and I weren’t even remotely in danger or anything, but just the fact that it was remotely possible is somehow really exciting.
