So Grublecake walks into her Boss' office today after arrainging an off-site event for her group. This event is at the snooty hotel downtown and is calculated to cost about $600 + tax and tip.
After getting the final bill, the total of which is about $700, Grublecake writes up the purchase order to give to her boss. Unfortunately, despite her earnest endeavors, Grublecake has accidently added an extra 0 to the price of the event while typing the purchase order -- bringing the total to $7000. This prompted a conversation something like this:
Bossguy: *Ack*... $7000? Umm . . . this bill is a lot higher than I was expecting.
Grublecake: (Not realizing the difference between $700 and $7000)Well, they added tax and then a big tip.
Bossguy: But you said it was going to be around only $600 dollars.
Grublecake: Yeah, it came in a little higher than we thought it would.
Bossguy: But HOW BIG A TIP did you give them?!?
You can imagine the comic hilarity that followed from there.
