ECKLEBURG 2004-04-03 - 1:21 p.m. So Lesley and I went to an Eddy From Ohio concert last night. The concert was well, and EFO had a strange combination of having more energy than usual, but at the same time playing a very mellow playlist. However, during the concert Lesley and I developed a bad case of "the Tequilas". "The Tequilas" stems from my theory that the word "tequila" can fit into every song at some point. Not only can fit -- SHOULD fit into every song. One's duty as a red-blooded American is to find the appropriate place to insert your "tequila," and then when it comes sing it out load during the concert. So Lesley and I are sitting in this concert -- it is in a very super nice high school theater that is rented out to other performances -- and cannot help but to sing "tequila" at seemingly random intervals to the people next to us. Especially intersting is that sometimes Lesley and I are in total synch with when we sing "tequila" while at other times one of us will sing it and the other one won't. So, the next time you are bored and want to create a nerotic habit you can't break for yourself, try it, so if you too can find the hidden "tequila" opportunity in nearly every song!
